How do I get my dog to stop peeing on our bushes and flowers!?
We got a dog a while ago..he was from a rescue..and about 3 years old..he had been neutered...great dog, well trained..but he lifts his leg on everything outside...Im sure this wont stop since he is that old..and I can spray most things down..but he is lifting his leg on the shrubs we have planted around and its killing them..we don't always catch him doing it but I know he is..he totally killed one and is working on two more...Is there anything I can do?
Which types of flowers to plant?
Recently, I have just.. rebuilt? my garden, so the grass is really green and pretty. I'd like to plant some flowers near the fence and around the pine tree like my garden is a square surrounded by a fence and there's a pine treein the top left corner with a half circle of dirt around it . What type of flowers would make it look nice and simple? I was thinking I could surround the half circle of dirt with stones or something... Oh, and any suggestions for flowers for the small path that leads to my house? Can I buy these seeds anywhere?
Dead heading flowers question?
I bought lots of bedding plants and plants for hanging baskets, for example, Geraniums, Marigolds and Geraniums. I don't know what the rest of them are. I bought them because I liked the look of them Do I have to behead them once they have flowered so they will flower again quicker or can I leave them to their own devices?I live in the UK.Thanks.
Can you preserve flowers with hairspray?
I wanna preserve one flower actually, but I don't wanna go out and buy stuff. Do you think that if u use hairspray and let it sit upside down for a while, it will never die?Thnx
